ExxonMobil Supports UA Through Matching Gift Program
Matching gifts have a significant impact at The University of Alabama. ExxonMobil recently presented UA with more than $49,000 to match their employees’ charitable contributions to the University during 2016.
ExxonMobil Asset Manager for the Gulf of Mexico and Mobile Bay Chris Golden and UA Alumnus Kamilah Johnson presented the unrestricted gift as part of the ExxonMobil Foundation’s Educational Matching Gift Program, which matches 3-to-1 the contributions of ExxonMobil employees, retirees, directors and surviving spouse. UA is one of 11 Alabama colleges and universities to benefit from the program this year.
Visit giving.ua.edu/matching to find out if you work for a matching gift company and you could potentially double or even triple your gift to UA.
