Ways to give to UA through wills and living trusts
- Designate a specific dollar amount to go to The University of Alabama.
- Designate a percentage of your estate to go to UA.
- Name a particular item that will be left for UA.
- After all other bequests are honored, leave the remainder of your estate to The University of Alabama.
Right now there is no limit to the amount that can be left to charity and deducted from your taxable estate. Consult your attorney or advisor for the latest tax provisions concerning gift and estate taxes.
