Women of the Capstone

Women of the Capstone is an organization for alumnae and friends who wish to get involved and make a difference in the lives of students and faculty at The University of Alabama.

Participants are committed, passionate and professional.  They are homemakers, corporate executives, business owners, academic administrators, community leaders and philanthropists.

Women of the Capstone members have the option to participate in fun and enriching activities sponsored by the University.  These activities will strengthen connections to UA and further impact the lives of our students.

Participants can choose to support the UA community and help students at the Capstone become leaders of tomorrow by:

•Supporting the mission of the University

•Providing meaningful services to students and faculty that enhance the educational experience at UA

As a member of Women of the Capstone, you will be invited to attend two on-campus events each year.  In the past these events have included presentations and tours of the Child Development and Research Center, the Paul W. Bryant Academic Center, and the Hoole Special Collections Library.

Each Fall semester you will be invited to attend a Celebration Luncheon and Induction Ceremony.  These luncheons are held on campus and include special guests and optional tours.

Throughout the year, members may receive invitations to attend other special events on campus.
