ExxonMobil Supports UA Through Matching Gift Program
- June 14th, 2018
Matching gifts have a significant impact at The University of Alabama. ExxonMobil recently presented UA with more than $42,000 to match their employees’ charitable contributions to the University during 2017.
Patrick Gorman, ExxonMobil Asset Manager for the Gulf of Mexico and Mobile Bay, and Tom Joiner, Tom Joiner & Assoc., presented the unrestricted gift as part of the ExxonMobil Foundation’s Educational Matching Gift Program, which matches 3-to-1 the contributions of ExxonMobil employees, retirees, directors and surviving spouse. UA is one of 12 Alabama colleges and universities to benefit from the program this year.
Visit giving.ua.edu/matching to find out if you work for a matching gift company and you could potentially double or even triple your gift to UA.
